arara.

What a restaurant website costs.

Arara is $35 a month for your restaurant's website on your own domain. No setup fee, no contract, no cut of your orders.

What $35 a month covers

Your site, hosted on the domain you already own. Every page your diners look for: home, menu with prices, hours and directions, photos, reviews from your own guests, and your private events or catering page if you offer them. Each photo gets a plain description, so people using screen readers know what's on the plate. Reviews come in through a QR code on your table tents, and you approve each one. When you change your hours or your menu, the site changes the same day.

It also covers the part most owners never see. Every Arara site tells search engines and AI assistants, in the format they read, where you are, when you're open, what you serve and how to order. That's the information Google and ChatGPT use when somebody asks where to eat.

You pay month to month and you can cancel any time. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the month you've paid for. Setting up is free: your plan starts the day your site goes online.

If online ordering is the center of your business, a platform built around ordering might be worth its price. If you need a site that's accurate and easy to find, that's what Arara does. See how Arara compares in more detail.

Pricing questions

How much does a restaurant website cost?

A do-it-yourself builder like Squarespace or Wix runs from $17.77 to $159.77 a month, and you do the work. Restaurant platforms such as Popmenu and Owner.com run from $159 to $499 a month, and some take a share of online orders. Arara is $35 a month, with no setup fee and no share of anything.

Is there a setup fee?

No. Setting up your site is free, and your $35 a month starts when the site goes online on your domain.

Is there a contract?

No. Arara is month to month. Cancel from your account any time, and it takes effect at the end of the month you've paid for. There are no cancellation fees.

Does Arara take a percentage of my orders?

No. Arara doesn't process orders. Your site sends diners to the ordering service you already use, and what you pay that service stays between you and them.

Do I need to buy a domain?

Most restaurants already own one. Arara puts your site on it and leaves your email alone. If you don't have one yet, you can buy one from any domain company and connect it.

What if I have more than one restaurant?

Each restaurant has its own site and its own $35 a month plan. You manage all of them from one account.

What happens to my site if I cancel?

Your domain shows a simple page with your restaurant's address and phone number, and everything you set up is kept for 90 days. Restart within that time and your full site is back in about a minute. You can download everything, including your site as files, at any time.
